Dear Diary, 

It’s been three days since I’ve moved here and two since I began work. Everyone is so nice and eager to help. But they’re always so busy. Even at 10 pm, the streets were so brightly lit that it didn’t feel any different than the day. There were people everywhere - shopping, bargaining, eating, talking or hurrying to nameless destinations to begin the next chapter of their evening. Everyone had to be somewhere, and everyone looked like they just fit into this busy city. Will I ever fit in?
